Drum lessons
Private Lessons as Individual as You: Personal Goals Instead of a Standard Textbook In my lessons, I place great emphasis on individuality: Together, we define your personal goals and tailor the lessons accordingly. This benefits hobby drummers just as much as drummers with ambitious goals. You can conveniently book your lessons online – just like booking a hair appointment. :) This way, you don't make any long-term commitments and only pay for the lessons you actually attend. Of course, you can also book a whole semester if you wish. Just get in touch with me. Lessons take place in Heerbrugg, St. Gallen, a 5-minute walk from the train station. My teaching studio is equipped with several high-quality drum kits and optimal microphone setup. You can find the costs for private lessons on the price list. arrangements
Sheet music for brass bands, percussion ensembles, and Guggenmusik: I arrange your song request For over 20 years, I've been arranging songs for Guggenmusik and brass bands. Your sound vision is my priority. I'd be happy to arrange your desired song and adapt the instrumentation to your ensemble. Each arrangement includes: - score (PDF) - individual parts (PDF) - audio for each part (MP3) All sheet music is provided with valve fingering or slide position indications (trombone), so even musicians without prior knowledge of music notation can easily read the music. Each song also includes sheet music for drums and percussion. You can find the costs for arrangements on the price list.
Gugge-Leader Course
Learn how to optimally lead and conduct your Guggenmusik band in just one day. The Gugge Leader Course is the perfect alternative to formal conducting training and is designed for all musical directors of Guggenmusik bands. In this one-day course, you'll learn how to conduct rehearsals efficiently and prepare your band perfectly for Carnival. We consistently bridge the gap between theory and practice, allowing you to immediately apply what you've learned at your next rehearsal. No prior knowledge is necessary, but basic musical skills are beneficial. This course also serves as a valuable continuing education opportunity to further deepen your existing knowledge. Course Content: - Rehearsal Methodology: Preparing rehearsals, conducting efficiently, practical tips - Scores: Understanding structure, reading scores - Drum Notation: Understanding the basics, reading scores - Song Selection: Approach, practical tips - Conducting: Movements (drumming patterns), time signatures The next course dates are: Sunday, May 3, 2026 Sunday, August 23, 2026 Cost: The course fee is CHF 399 per person. Workshops for groups, percussion sections or any rhythm enthusiast. The topic is up to you. Whether it's leading a section during a rehearsal weekend, assisting with composing a drum solo, or a rhythm workshop with cajon and djembe – the range of workshop topics is vast, and each one is unique. Need a drummer for your live production? I provide you live drumming for every stage. Stylish and versatile across various genres (including rock, Dixieland jazz, funk, pop, country, marching, brass band music, and more), I offer competent and professional live drumming.
